Panvel, the Brazilian pharmacy and beauty retailer with more than 450 stores and Panvel.com, wanted to enrich customer data and deliver more relevant communications ahead of Black Friday. Using Oracle Responsys Campaign Management, Panvel also launched a gamified “fortune wheel” campaign to capture new leads and better understand shoppers across email, SMS, and push channels.
Oracle Responsys helped Panvel import and centralize near real-time customer data, update lifecycle status, and send targeted messages based on customer behavior. The results were strong: email open rates rose 43%, click-through rates increased 166%, revenue per email doubled, purchase data grew 10%, and campaign engagement increased 39%; more than 10% of online visitors and 75% of in-store shoppers registered, and participating customers drove 37% of total purchases during the period.
