A Oracle Case Study
Outsourcing Business Service, the business-process outsourcing arm of Tokyo-based Outsourcing Inc., needed to centralize health and well-being data for its 35,000 employees—more than 90% of whom have disabilities. Data was scattered across spreadsheets and paper records in 30 divisions, making it difficult for the small IT team to identify at-risk employees and enable timely interventions.
The company consolidated records on Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, using Oracle Application Express to import data and Oracle Analytics/Data Visualization for low-code analysis; Oracle Consulting’s Rapid Start cut deployment to about one-third the usual time. As a result, roughly 100 occupational health specialists can now securely analyze work–life and health data centrally, proactively address issues, and the self-managing, self-patching database has reduced administrative costs and freed IT to focus on insights.
