A Oracle Case Study
Oklahoma State University Center for Health Systems Innovation needed robust healthcare data to support data-driven research for rural and Native American communities that are often underrepresented and underserved in clinical care and research. To develop actionable insights and clinical tools, OSU turned to Oracle EHR Real-World Data while building machine learning risk models.
Oracle helped OSU create algorithms that identify risk factors earlier for high-risk chronic diseases, enabling clinicians to manage patients more effectively and prevent severe outcomes like diabetes-related blindness or tobacco-related lung cancer. With Oracle EHR Real-World Data, Oklahoma State University delivered more intelligent care with fewer resources and reduced reliance on scarce medical specialists.
