Ortobom boosts agility, serves customers faster with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Ortobom, Brazil’s largest mattress manufacturer, needed to keep up with rapidly growing data volumes and increasingly complex ERP operations while improving security, availability, and disaster recovery. The company had long relied on Oracle Database Standard Edition One, but expansion made it harder to manage performance and support fast customer order processing across its 12 factories and franchises.

Oracle implemented Oracle Exadata Database Service on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to modernize Ortobom’s environment. The result was near-100% service availability across factories, faster ERP reporting and order handling, and much stronger data protection with automatic backups and disaster recovery. Ortobom also cut database and ERP administration time by about two-thirds, giving the IT team more time for analytics, ecommerce, and other business priorities.
