Oracle Marketing Consulting partnered with Xfinity (Comcast) to promote Xfinity Flex, a free streaming dashboard, to existing internet customers. The challenge was to quickly educate varied customer segments about Flex’s benefits and find the most effective messaging to drive awareness and trial.
The teams built a modular, multiversion email campaign with three creative treatments tailored to the Streamer, the Skeptic, and the Service-Oriented customer personas, using bright colors, large images, and focused copy to maximize attention. Testing showed engagement lifts of 23%–39% across segments, with the Skeptic creative delivering particularly strong gains, and the learnings informed ongoing strategy and additional tests.
