Oracle LMS helps Misr Life Insurance optimize its IT infrastructure

Misr Life Insurance, the largest life insurance company in the Middle East, needed a clearer understanding of its Oracle licensing agreements and wanted to ensure full compliance across an infrastructure heavily dependent on Oracle technology. To address this challenge, Misr Life Insurance worked with Oracle License Management Services (Oracle LMS).

Oracle LMS conducted an open audit of Misr Life Insurance’s licensing position, measured actual usage against contractual entitlements, and identified gaps in the configuration of its virtual machines. Oracle then helped close those gaps to improve compliance and reduce operational and financial risks tied to unauthorized deployments, while also strengthening the company’s understanding of Oracle licensing and software asset management to support better future cost and asset control.
