PPHE Hotel Group, a design-led operator with hotels across 38 European destinations, needed to speed up and simplify payment processing while reducing its dependency on locally hosted IT systems. Manual reconciliation and non‑integrated payment terminals were slowing check-in/check-out and distracting reception teams from guest service.
PPHE implemented Oracle Hospitality Gateway Interfaces Cloud Service integrated with Oracle Hospitality OPERA Property Cloud Service, moving payments to a cloud-based, fully integrated solution. The change cut average check-in/check-out times by about 25%, reduced reconciliation and manual entry, enabled automated deposit processing during night audit, introduced guest-facing options like TV checkout, and is being rolled out across remaining UK properties.
