Case Study: Madero Restaurants achieves stable, secure cloud growth with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

A Oracle Case Study

Preview of the Madero Restaurants Case Study

Oracle Cloud provides key ingredients to sustaining growth at Madero Restaurants

Madero Restaurants, one of Brazil’s fastest-growing restaurant chains, needed to support rapid expansion while maintaining operational consistency, security, and cost control as data volumes and demand patterns changed. The company had been relying on on-premises infrastructure with TOTVS ERP and an Oracle database, but scaling its data centers and supporting new initiatives became increasingly difficult. Madero evaluated cloud options and chose Oracle, specifically Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Exadata Database Service, for its price, performance, and security.

Oracle, working with Cloud Lift Services and partner Prime Db Solutions, migrated Madero’s data and essential applications to OCI in less than eight months. The move went live in September 2022 with no disruption to users, stabilized the environment, improved security and high availability with Oracle Security, Identity, and Compliance and Oracle Data Guard, and enabled Madero to retire multiple third-party on-premises tools. Oracle FastConnect also gave Madero a dedicated, private connection to its app on Microsoft Azure at a predictable monthly cost.
