Obrainsa Delivers Peru Projects on Aconex

Obrainsa is delivering a US$100M expansion of Cayetano Heredia University in Lima plus a parking concession in Miraflores, comprising three complex projects (underground parking, a six‑story nursing building and a five‑story research building). The work is unusually complex for medical and research facilities, involves a 215‑person team from 15 organizations, and required managing large volumes of documents and coordinated BIM design collaboration across stakeholders.

Obrainsa implemented the Aconex project collaboration platform with Connected BIM and cloud document storage to share and update 3D models, store files securely, and enforce controlled communication workflows with full audit trails. The result: streamlined review and approval processes, timely distribution of more than 300 documents per project per month, improved project delivery and asset quality, reduced risk of data loss, and savings on file‑sharing software and servers.
