Norwegian Nurses Organisation Streamlines Budgeting Process with EPM Cloud

Norwegian Nurses Organisation (Norsk Sykepleierforbund, NSF) is Norway’s fourth-largest trade union with over 108,000 members, representing nurses, specialist nurses, midwives, and students. NSF faced an unstable, aging on‑premises planning and budgeting system and needed to streamline and simplify budgeting and planning, minimize downtime, improve financial analysis for strategic decisions (such as member wages), and reduce operational costs while freeing IT resources for development.

Working with Oracle and partner Sucaba Norway, NSF implemented Oracle Cloud EPM Planning in a 4–5 month rollout. The cloud solution enabled 50 users to complete budget work faster and more reliably, improved reporting and decision‑making, provided a stable foundation for future development, removed server maintenance (saving about $25,000/year), and freed IT staff to focus on enhancing the planning and budgeting solution.
