Preview of the Noorisys Technologies Case Study

Noorisys Technologies migrates from AWS EC2 to MySQL HeatWave for big savings

Noorisys Technologies, an India-based IT solutions and software development company, needed a secure, highly available, and cost-effective database to support its FasterChecks digital COVID self-testing platform and other growing SaaS services. As its MySQL Community Edition deployment hit scaling limits, Noorisys also needed 24/7 support, compliance with UK data regulations, and better performance than AWS EC2 could provide.

Oracle implemented MySQL HeatWave on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to replace AWS EC2, giving Noorisys improved performance, scalability, security, and predictable costs. The migration took just minutes, initial testing handled up to 200,000 users per second, and switching server capacity no longer caused downtime; new configurations were active within 5 minutes. Noorisys also cut costs to nearly half of what it was paying for AWS and gained 24/7 Oracle Premier Support.
