Nokia replaces 14 HR applications with one instance of Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM

Nokia, a global communications and IT company with more than 80,000 employees in 130 countries, was struggling with the complexity created by acquisitions that added new HR systems and processes. The company was using 14 different HR applications, which caused confusion for employees, managers, and executives, and needed a more consistent global experience. Nokia turned to Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM to replace its fragmented HR environment.

Oracle implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) with Oracle Customer Success Services to consolidate Nokia’s HR tools into one cloud-based system. The new NokiaME portal streamlined more than 100 HR processes and gave employees and managers a single place for HR services, saving time and reducing the need for training. Nokia expects Oracle AI capabilities to further improve HR efficiency, with a targeted gain of at least 20%.
