NCS Multistage, a global provider of engineered products and services for oil and gas well completions, faced growing complexity after its IPO: legacy on‑premises Hyperion and Excel‑based processes hindered collaboration and insight, and IT overhead included maintaining duplicate servers across offices for disaster recovery. The fragmented systems made month‑end close slow and constrained forecasting and consolidation across multiple entities.

Working with Oracle and partner EPMI, NCS implemented Oracle Cloud EPM (alongside Oracle Cloud ERP) in 12 weeks, replacing Hyperion and consolidating performance management onto a single system of record. The move cut month‑end close from weeks to days, eliminated the need for BlackLine while enabling drill‑downs to source data, improved rolling forecasting and long‑range planning, and delivered automatic quarterly updates for ongoing capability improvements.
