National Solar Energy Group migrates critical systems from AWS to OCI

National Solar Energy Group, Australia’s largest integrated solar company, needed a more scalable and secure platform for its CRM and other critical systems after rising AWS costs and a serious on-premises security incident affected more than 300 employees. To address these challenges, the company turned to Oracle MySQL HeatWave and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), with Oracle Cloud Lift Services supporting the migration.

Oracle helped National Solar Energy Group migrate 12 websites and the Solar CRM application from AWS to OCI, fine-tune performance, and strengthen security with Cloud Guard. The result was 35% lower cloud service costs, consistently high performance with zero downtime, and improved security posture, while reducing IT workload and improving employee satisfaction.
