Mynet cloud costs drop 80% by running games on Oracle Cloud

Mynet, a game app developer known for titles like Legend of Monsters and Age of Ishtaria, needed to improve its gaming infrastructure across cost, performance, automation, and security. To support its multicloud approach, Mynet began using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for select game titles and had migrated eight titles to Oracle Cloud since 2019.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure helped Mynet achieve about 80% cloud cost reductions on most migrated game titles, while also improving performance and automation. In one case, Oracle reduced batch processing time from one hour to 10 minutes, and OCI autoscaling enabled nearly staff-free operation for some titles.
