A Oracle Case Study

Preview of the MXstore Case Study

MXstore boosts system performance by 200X with Oracle HeatWave MySQL

MXstore, Australia’s largest online retailer of dirt bike parts, tools, and accessories, needed to improve the performance and reliability of its cloud-native ecommerce platform and warehouse management systems after recurring issues and poor support on a previous cloud platform. The company turned to Oracle, using Oracle MySQL HeatWave and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Kubernetes Engine (OKE) to support its critical workloads.

With Oracle, MXstore cut query response times from up to 20 seconds to less than 100 milliseconds, delivering a 200X performance boost. Oracle also helped MXstore deploy OCI Full Stack Disaster Recovery to automate recovery across databases and containerized applications between Australia regions, enabling recovery in under 60 minutes and helping protect revenue during outages and peak demand.
