MXM gains flexibility and agility in service delivery with OCI

MXM Sistemas, a Brazilian software company, needed more agility and flexibility to deliver its MXM-WebManager ERP service as demand changed, but its conventional data centers made it hard to scale up or down and required complex contract renegotiations. The company turned to Oracle and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to support customers with varying billing-cycle needs and higher security, availability, and compliance requirements.

Oracle implemented OCI to host MXM-WebManager in the cloud, enabling automated monitoring, easier environment provisioning, and full management of updates and patching. As a result, MXM achieved 99% to 100% monthly availability, cut infrastructure costs by about 35%, and reduced environment setup time from at least 24 hours to as little as 8 hours, allowing the business to reinvest savings into new automated cloud services.
