Mutua Madrid Open, a progressive ATP/WTA tournament founded in 2002, set out to stay at the forefront of fan experience by delivering real-time, reliable information on players, scores, access points, services and ticketing without risking service interruptions. The challenge was to modernize spectator communication while maintaining its reputation for innovation and a seamless event experience.

Working with Oracle and using Oracle Cloud Platform (Oracle Mobile Hub), the tournament launched an AI-powered chatbot called MatchBot to provide live, corroborated updates to fans.
