MONETA streamlines banking operations with Exadata Cloud@Customer

MONETA Money Bank, one of the Czech Republic’s largest financial institutions, needed more database storage and flexibility while keeping latency very low between its Oracle Database instances and banking applications. As its growth accelerated and a merger increased demand for critical banking systems, the bank looked for an Oracle solution that could support expansion without moving fully to public cloud.

Oracle implemented Exadata Cloud@Customer to give MONETA scalable on-premises cloud infrastructure with low latency, stronger performance, and simpler administration. As a result, MONETA now runs more than 300 Oracle Database instances more efficiently, has reduced manual database operations by up to 80%, and gained faster provisioning, better security, and easier compliance with local data-residency requirements.
