A Oracle Case Study
MOLA, the Museum of London Archaeology, needed a better way to capture and manage large volumes of digital archaeological data for infrastructure projects. Its long-used Oracle Forms system had become cumbersome for recording, storing, and searching information, creating challenges around efficiency, security, and data integrity.
Oracle helped MOLA modernize with a low-code mobile app built on Oracle APEX, connected to an Oracle 19C Database on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The new solution improved security and backup handling, enforced sequencing and referential integrity, and delivered high performance and ease of use. As a result, user adoption grew exponentially, supported by cost-efficient block storage.
