A Oracle Case Study
The Ministry of Labour and Welfare's Department of Employment needed to rapidly modernize its immigrant-registration process to convert undocumented workers to legal status, ensure compliance with the Working of Alien Act, and reduce the risk of human trafficking. The challenge was deploying a reliable, secure system quickly enough to meet urgent policy and enforcement needs.
Using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (Compute Classic and Object Storage Classic), the ministry stood up the immigrant-registration system within a week. The quick deployment enabled the department to advance its mission—regularizing migrant workers, avoiding legal violations, and helping prevent potential human trafficking cases.
