Mercan Properties finds easy integrations and lower costs in Oracle Cloud

Mercan Properties, a real estate investment and development group, needed a flexible, secure way to keep its hotel technology aligned with rapid portfolio changes as it bought and sold properties in Portugal. To meet that challenge, the company turned to Oracle MICROS Simphony POS and Oracle OPERA Cloud Property Management, seeking easier integration and lower IT costs.

Oracle implemented its cloud-based hospitality solutions, including the Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform, to simplify adding and removing properties from Mercan’s systems and to give partners self-service access to data. As a result, Mercan reduced IT capital expenditures and improved speed to market, while Oracle’s open architecture helped futureproof its investment and support faster product development.
