McDonald’s franchisee Arcos Dorados turns to Oracle Cloud

Arcos Dorados, the largest quick service restaurant business in Latin America and the Caribbean and a McDonald’s franchisee across 20 countries, needed a better way to democratize financial information while maintaining governance in a complex multicountry environment. After relying on Oracle Hyperion, the company looked for a more flexible, cloud-based planning and budgeting tool to support its finance operations across markets.

Arcos Dorados chose Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) to replace its on-premises approach and unify planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation. With Oracle, the company eliminated much of the customization and upgrade burden, broke down data silos, and improved collaboration between IT and finance. The result was one cloud solution across all markets, integrated with ERP, plus 550 new functionalities added in 2020 and faster, more secure access to timely financial information.
