Mazda Motor Logistics Speeds Visibility Across Supply Chain

Mazda Motor Logistics, which handles distribution of Mazda cars and parts across Europe, faced a legacy warehouse system that lacked transportation management and left the company without end‑to‑end shipment visibility. That gap risked on‑time deliveries, customer satisfaction, and market share as non‑certified parts could replace Mazda components.

Mazda implemented Oracle Transportation Management, Oracle Warehouse Management and Oracle E‑Business Suite (now part of Oracle Cloud ERP/SCM) and adopted an Oracle competence‑center model. The solution delivered order‑to‑delivery visibility, fully automated transport bookings, eliminated Excel/Access processes, and moved product master data to Oracle Cloud. Month‑end close dropped from four days to under one, staff were reallocated to customer service, and the platform enables faster global rollouts and ongoing feature upgrades.
