Maxim’s serves up tastier dishes with Oracle Cloud

Maxim’s, a large food and beverage group operating more than 1,800 outlets across Asia, needed greater scalability, 24/7 availability, and stronger business continuity as it grew and faced COVID-19 disruptions. The company also wanted to modernize legacy infrastructure and migrate workloads securely to the cloud with minimal CapEx pressure, using Oracle Cloud VMware Solution and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Oracle implemented Oracle Cloud VMware Solution and Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer to help Maxim’s migrate critical workloads without changing architecture, strengthen disaster recovery, and improve operational agility. The results included disaster protection for around 70 VMs, reduced recovery time to about 5 minutes, procurement and provisioning cycles cut from months to hours, and on-demand capacity for development, testing, and peak recovery needs.
