Maxim’s optimizes its operations with Oracle Cloud VMware and Exadata solutions

Maxim’s Group, with more than 1,800 outlets across Asia, needed faster infrastructure scaling, stronger business continuity, and better disaster recovery without increasing CapEx. Using Oracle Cloud VMware Solution and Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer, Maxim’s also aimed to modernize legacy systems, improve 24/7 availability, and support more efficient data migration and application testing.

Oracle implemented Oracle Cloud VMware Solution and Exadata Cloud@Customer to help Maxim’s migrate critical workloads with minimal changes, gain secure cloud access, and scale capacity on demand. The results included hot backup disaster recovery for about 70 VMs, reduced recovery time objective to around 5 minutes, and procurement/provisioning cycles cut from months to hours, while also lowering total cost and improving operational efficiency.
