Maxiconsumo advances customer service with Oracle Cloud

Maxiconsumo, one of Argentina’s largest retail chains, needed to improve slow, complex business intelligence reporting that was still running on an on-premises open-source PostgreSQL system. The company wanted faster analytics and better support for teams across management, logistics, sales, and human resources, so it turned to Oracle Cloud, including Oracle Analytics Cloud and Oracle Autonomous Database.

Oracle helped Maxiconsumo migrate its BI platform to Oracle Cloud in less than four months. The new setup automated data preparation and cut query response times from hours to 1–2 seconds, eliminated 10 manual tasks and more than a day of administration per week, and improved data security and user adoption. As a result, Maxiconsumo gained faster, more accurate insights and better decision-making, and Oracle Consulting supported the migration to Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse.
