A Oracle Case Study
Marshall Health Network (MHN), an academic health network serving 1.4 million patients in West Virginia, needed a data aggregator to pull information from its systems and report Accountable Care Organization performance for Medicare Shared Savings Program quality measures. To meet this need, MHN selected Oracle Health Data Intelligence because it was EHR-agnostic, had the required functionality, and offered applications to support long-term adoption.
Oracle Health Data Intelligence helped Marshall Health Network report performance and operationalize quality-improvement initiatives over five years, leading to some of the highest thresholds in the region. MHN improved across 90% of MSSP CMS web interface quality measures and increased shared savings to $1.8 million, up from $0 in 2018, while also strengthening physician engagement in value-based care and enhancing patient care quality.
