Case Study: Manheim achieves unified cloud financials by consolidating six systems into one with Oracle Managed Cloud Services

A Oracle Case Study

Preview of the Manheim Case Study

Manheim Streamlines Business Processes and Transforms Six Disparate Financial Systems into One Instance in the Cloud

Manheim, a Cox Enterprises subsidiary and the world’s largest wholesale automobile auction company, operates auctions and dealership services across multiple continents. Facing six disparate tier‑two financial systems, Manheim needed a single, stable ERP instance in the cloud that would deliver accurate, business‑consumable data, high availability with minimal downtime, and integration with in‑house and third‑party applications while gaining Oracle-specific expertise.

Using Oracle Financials on Oracle Exadata and Oracle Managed Cloud Services, Manheim consolidated its legacy systems into one global cloud instance, integrated via Oracle SOA Suite, and enabled broad BI visibility across the business. The project delivered greater data accuracy and faster analytics for executive decision‑making, doubled monthly deployments of new functionality (from one to two), achieved a 97% deployment success rate, reduced administration and backup downtime, and allowed IT to focus on strategic initiatives instead of system maintenance.
