Maestro Health is a Chicago-based employee benefits company that provides accounts and benefits administration, enrollments, self-insurance and healthcare savings for brokers, SMEs and large enterprises. Running a Django/Python backend and AngularJS frontend on AWS, the 500-person company faced a growing, complex consumer- and business-facing application with an intricate work-queue between developers and QA that required manual deployments across environments—impacting scalability and response time.

Maestro adopted Wercker for its stable, simple CI/CD pipelines and essential manual-deploy capability, using fan-in parallel workflows to match their release needs. With 15 developers (30 total) on Wercker, the team achieved more reliable builds and deployments, streamlined their pipeline management, and were able to refocus effort on writing code and improving system performance.
