Macquarie Group accelerates finance operations with an ambitious transformation

Macquarie Group, a global financial services firm, needed to modernize its aging PeopleSoft general ledger and finance operations to better support growth, compliance, and future transformation. In partnership with Oracle, Macquarie chose Oracle Cloud ERP as part of the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite to replace its legacy GL with a scalable, cloud-based foundation.

Oracle helped Macquarie implement the new platform over three years in three major waves, alongside Deloitte, migrating more than 1.2 billion lines of GL data and training over 1,700 users. The results included improved security, simplified processes, reports available up to two hours earlier, and month-end close delivered on schedule, giving Macquarie a future-proof platform and stronger business agility.
