MACOM sees faster loan approvals and business reporting with OCI

Manappuram Group’s IT services arm, MACOM, was struggling with an unstable legacy on-premises environment that lacked scalability, had limited disaster recovery, and posed flood-related risk to critical systems. To modernize core operations and support real-time reporting for 15,000+ users, it turned to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and related services, including Oracle Exadata Database Service and Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse.

Oracle implemented a dual-region OCI setup across Mumbai and Hyderabad, along with Oracle GoldenGate, Active Data Guard, Audit Vault, Database Firewall, and Oracle Customer Success Services. The result was 4X faster application performance, more scalable reporting, stronger security and availability, and a major improvement in business continuity, cutting disaster shift time from nearly 3 hours to 49 minutes.
