Lyft Cuts Financial Close in Half With Oracle Cloud ERP

Lyft, the ridesharing company that scaled from a high-growth startup to a public enterprise, faced fragmented finance systems—about 30 siloed platforms—that were costly, slow, and didn’t provide timely visibility for decision-makers. The company needed a single source of truth across finance and operations so analysts and stakeholders could get fast, actionable reporting and support rapid business growth.

Lyft implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud finance, ERP, EPM, procurement and risk modules, plus Oracle Autonomous Database and Oracle Analytics on OCI, with Deloitte providing process expertise. Using Oracle’s built-in best practices and minimal customizations, Lyft cut the revenue-component close time by more than half in four months, expects to halve the full financial close once ERP is fully implemented (and halve it again with further process improvements), while gaining scalable performance and faster access to data for better business decisions.
