LUMS University Quickly Migrates SAP Application and Database to Oracle Cloud

Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) needed to migrate its SAP application and database to the cloud while integrating a disaster‑recovery application to improve security, reliability, and operational flexibility. The challenge was to move critical workloads without disruption and gain the ability to test and deploy different workloads while scaling infrastructure tolerance and footprint.

LUMS implemented Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Compute Classic and Object Storage Classic to migrate, host, and integrate its disaster‑recovery application. The move delivered a smooth migration process, stronger security and reliability, and the freedom to migrate, test, and deploy varied workloads while expanding infrastructure capacity and application resilience.
