A Oracle Case Study
LogOn Consulting is a recruitment-technology company that uses AI and autonomous causal-discovery algorithms to structure and analyze large volumes of unstructured candidate data. To expand internationally and support AI-driven features (including automated profiling and a humanoid interview robot), the company needed far greater compute and storage capacity than its physical data center could provide, along with scalable, usage-based infrastructure, GDPR-compliant German data residency, and no upfront capital commitment.
LogOn migrated its eRecruiting application to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (Compute and Object Storage) in Frankfurt—implemented in two weeks without external help—and gained a 64x increase in compute capacity and 3x more storage, enabling 15–30x higher application workloads while keeping TCO comparable to the old data center. The move delivered flexible, on-demand scaling, expected cost advantages of $600k–$1.2M versus other cloud providers, full GDPR compliance, and a platform for future innovations such as blockchain-based candidate data control.
