Preview of the Litoplas Case Study

Litoplas hits 98% efficiency in its plant using Oracle Cloud

Litoplas is a Colombian plastics-packaging manufacturer with more than 50 years in the market, a 600‑employee plant in Barranquilla, and exports across Latin America. Facing limitations with its legacy in‑house software, the company needed an enterprise ERP to improve equipment availability, streamline maintenance, and ensure on‑time deliveries while supporting sustainable production.

Litoplas implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP with Oracle Maintenance Cloud to centralize processes, integrate finance, and enable remote planning. The solution delivered major gains in asset availability and visibility—bringing plant efficiency to about 98%, raising on‑time deliveries to consistently above 95%, improving staff hours per machine, enabling work‑order cost analysis and traceability for 75 machines, and allowing engineers to plan maintenance remotely during the pandemic.
