Liberia Social Safety Nets Project turns to OCI for safety net delivery system

The Republic of Liberia’s Liberia Social Safety Nets Project (LSSNP) needed a more scalable, secure way to run its core applications for income support delivery to 300,000 households living in poverty. Its on-premises systems could no longer keep up with growth, and it also needed stronger data protection, GDPR readiness, and easier integration across multiple data-collection applications.

Oracle provided Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), along with OCI Identity and Access Management and Oracle Cloud Lift Services, to migrate LSSNP’s development, test, and production environments to the cloud. Oracle’s solution improved application performance by 80%, sped up development, testing, and deployment by 80%, increased reliability, and enabled secure storage and automated backups for sensitive household data—all completed on time and on budget.
