LATO Leadership Automation Tools Oy is a Helsinki-based SaaS company (founded 2014) that sells LATO, a strategy-execution tool used by about 100 mostly mid-to-large customers. To grow sales and market share the company needed a more stable, secure and scalable cloud platform with better uptime (target ≥99.5%), stronger security, and a foundation for faster feature delivery than its existing local provider.

LATO migrated to Oracle Database Cloud Service and Oracle Java Cloud Service, added encrypted storage and automated backups, and streamlined deployments. The move raised application performance by 35%, improved availability to over 99.5%, increased scalability and flexibility, and boosted sales, market credibility and profitability thanks in part to the Oracle brand.
