A Oracle Case Study
Lacework, a fast-growing cloud security provider that automates threat defense across AWS, GCP, and Azure, needed a way to scale sales while maintaining efficiency. As a VC-backed unicorn experiencing rapid revenue growth, the company required an account-scoring model and real-time alerts so reps could prioritize high-probability, high-value accounts, shorten sales cycles, and spend less time researching.
By deploying Oracle DataFox Data Management (integrated with Slack and a Chrome extension), Lacework centralized account intelligence and built a five-attribute scoring model from technographic and growth signals. The platform expanded Lacework’s target database from 30,000 to more than 100,000 highly scored accounts, helped reps focus on top accounts while alerting them to opportunistic signals, and drove roughly 3X (300%) revenue growth with improved sales–marketing alignment and more efficient marketing spend.
