Kotak Mahindra Banks on Oracle to Boost Employee Experience

Kotak Mahindra Bank, a leading Indian banking and financial services group with more than 1,600 branches, 2,591 ATMs and 50,000+ employees, faced fragmented on-premises HR systems and the need to adapt recruitment and operations when most staff worked remotely during the pandemic. The bank needed to automate hiring, establish paperless communications, ensure workforce safety, and reduce manual HR intervention.

Kotak implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management — including Oracle Recruiting, Oracle Learning and Oracle Workforce Health and Safety — and migrated from on‑premises systems to a mobile-friendly cloud platform with digital signatures and self-service. The solution automated recruitment and HR workflows, moved offline processes online, improved user experience and productivity, and cut printing and courier costs by about Rs 15 lakh per year while streamlining onboarding.
