Koerich is a Brazilian furniture, decor, and appliance retailer that needed to modernize its decade-old ecommerce to seamlessly integrate digital and physical shopping. The retailer wanted customers to research online or on mobile, then buy or pick up in stores—and the need became urgent when the COVID-19 pandemic forced its 100 stores to close and shift sales online.

Koerich implemented Oracle Commerce to build a custom omnichannel platform without relying on outside vendors, connecting web and in-store experiences and enabling new ecommerce features. The solution kept the business operational during store closures and has driven more natural cross-channel shopping, with increasing numbers of customers researching online before visiting physical stores.
