Jordan Payments and Clearing Company (JoPACC) needed to modernize its aging IT infrastructure to make digital payments in Jordan safer, more efficient, scalable, and compliant with local requirements. Managing multiple vendors and outdated systems was slowing operations and delaying time-to-market, so JoPACC turned to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle’s cloud services to support its payment platforms.
Oracle implemented Oracle Compute and Oracle Database as a Service on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, along with private connectivity through Oracle FastConnect. As a result, JoPACC reduced infrastructure and support costs, improved security and scalability, and accelerated provisioning and time to market. Oracle also helped JoPACC free IT staff from hardware maintenance so they could focus on core business work, while the company continued operating smoothly during COVID-19 and launched a new instant payment system.
