John Holland, a major construction and engineering contractor, adopted Aconex under a three‑year enterprise subscription to manage all projects across Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia, including Perth Children’s Hospital, Ravenhall Prison and the Victorian Regional Rail Link. The company faced high‑profile, complex projects with new contracting models, geographically dispersed teams across many organizations, and multi‑country operations that demanded consistent information and process control.

Using Aconex’s cloud platform for project controls and collaboration, John Holland consolidated document control, communications and configurable workflows into a single system with unlimited users and data, supporting the full project lifecycle from feasibility to construction. The move increased uptime and reduced support and training costs, sped employee onboarding, improved joint‑venture bid processes, and included migration of eight live projects comprising 13 million records and 744 GB of data from a legacy platform.
