A Oracle Case Study
Jack in the Box, a large quick-service restaurant chain in the U.S., Guam, and Mexico, needed to bring its legacy finance systems into a single cloud platform after acquiring Del Taco in 2022. The company wanted to replace on-premises Oracle E-Business Suite, Hyperion, and Del Taco’s outdated Microsoft Great Plains ERP with a common financial management system that would reduce costs and eliminate the burden of maintaining on-premises applications. Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and EPM were selected for the transformation.
Oracle implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM to unify Jack in the Box and Del Taco on a shared services model, automate budgeting and close processes, and improve reporting and dashboarding. The result was a monthly close completed in just three and a half days instead of two weeks for Del Taco, plus lower IT costs, less custom application maintenance, and more time for innovation thanks to Oracle’s cloud and integration tools.
