ITW Foils, part of Illinois Tool Works, is a European manufacturer and distributor of foils and foil laminates for the graphics industry. As the business consolidated multiple regional offices into a single European division, each location’s customized Dynamics NAV system created inconsistent processes and fragmented financials. The company needed a single, scalable NAV solution to support multi-site, multi-currency and multi-lingual operations and to handle the full manufacturing cycle with traceability and centralized reporting.

MICROS’ NAV team consolidated and extended the manufacturing-ready NAV instance from ITW’s Wales plant to serve more than 80 users across Europe, merging data and preserving local functionality through targeted development and fine-tuning. The new system cut month-end close time from about seven days to four, eliminated inter-company financial complexity so the business can report as one entity, and delivered clearer margin visibility to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
