Intuit Uses Scalable, Cloud-Based Learning Management Platform to Engage Customers and Grow

Intuit, the maker of QuickBooks, Quicken and TurboTax, needed a single, scalable SaaS learning platform to centralize customer-facing training and certification for accounting professionals. The company’s goals were to support large, global user volumes with 24/7 availability, deliver a seamless Intuit-branded experience across desktop and mobile, and provide flexible, easy-to-manage training and certification workflows.

Intuit implemented Oracle Taleo Learn Cloud Service with Oracle Identity Management for single sign-on, consolidating Intuit Academy and the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program (six certifications, 10 exams, 40 courses). The solution trained 132,000 customers and awarded 21,000 certifications in FY2013, achieved a Net Promoter Score of 56%, increased social sharing of certifications to 65%, improved user satisfaction and productivity, and created a foundation for global expansion.
