Integra adopts OCI for multicloud and gains 90% time savings

Integra LifeSciences, a global biomedical company based in New Jersey, needed a more scalable and reliable cloud foundation after failed migration attempts and aging on-premises systems were straining its Oracle E-Business Suite environment. The company turned to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to support mission-critical applications, disaster recovery, multicloud interoperability, and faster processing for its global operations.

Oracle implemented OCI services including Exadata Cloud, bare metal compute, FastConnect, Resource Manager, and the Oracle Cloud and Microsoft Azure Interconnect, first through a proof-to-pilot and then a controlled production rollout. The results were significant: a daily sales invoice report dropped from 1 hour 45 minutes to 13 minutes, an 87% improvement, and up to 91% with in-memory options; nightly analytics shrank from 8.5 hours to 3.5 hours; and Oracle also improved resiliency, performance visibility, and IT efficiency across more than 140 systems.
