InfoCert S.p.A., Italy’s leading certification authority, provides digital trust services—including electronic archiving, signing, invoicing, and certified electronic mail—to public and private organizations. When certified electronic mail (CEM) became mandatory in June 2013, InfoCert faced an unprecedented surge (over 400,000 CEM activations in one month) and needed to help customers transition from paper to digital, meet regulatory requirements, and shift its operations from reactive outage response to proactive incident prevention.

InfoCert implemented Oracle Application Testing Suite and Oracle Load Testing, working with Oracle Consulting to automate functional and load testing, simulate thousands of users, and identify bottlenecks early in development. The proactive testing program halved the number of production corrections, prevented incidents during the CEM rollout, improved platform performance and scalability, and measurably increased customer satisfaction.
