Humanic, a provider of international payroll software and HR solutions, needed a modern, secure development platform to replace Oracle Forms and deliver a more robust enterprise-level experience for customers. The company also wanted to reuse existing application code, improve the user interface, and reduce the effort required to bring new payroll features to market using Oracle APEX and Oracle Database.

With Oracle APEX, Humanic upgraded its payroll solution with responsive screens, single sign-on, stronger access controls, better reporting visuals, and easier data loading and file creation. Oracle APEX helped cut development time by 35%, and within 18 months Humanic migrated its team to APEX, rebuilt its security and menu systems, converted 300 forms into more than 1,000 APEX pages, and launched its first client on the new platform.
