Hotel La Tour, a boutique "modern classic" hotel in Birmingham that opened in 2012, wanted technology to be a defining part of its new brand without losing the human touch. The challenge was to roll out integrated self-service check-in/out, in-room controls and other systems from multiple suppliers and ensure a seamless launch and guest experience.

Hotel La Tour deployed Atos-designed kiosks integrated with Oracle Hospitality OPERA Property Cloud Service and linked restaurant and payment systems, while keeping staff available to assist. The result: average kiosk check-in under two minutes and check-out in 20 seconds, 60 simultaneous arrivals processed in 20 minutes, strong guest satisfaction and ongoing support from Oracle.
